The word “Qi” is generally defined as vital life energy. However, it is more acceptable defines as the universal energy or natural force.

An experienced Qigong master can use his Qi to do diagnosis and healing without torching his/her patient. Usually, a Qigong master can be a better acupuncturist because he uses his external Qi at the same time to ensure a more effective treatment.
